1.
The Treatment
The skin tag is frozen at a very low temperature of around –89°C, whilst leaving the surrounding skin untouched.
2.
The healing period
Over the next few days the skin tag will turn darker in colour and a scab may form.
3.
The result
About a week after treatment the skin tag will fall off naturally.
Skin tags are extremely common, especially after the age of 50, and will usually appear in areas where there is rubbing of the skin. The classic skin tag is flesh coloured, and looks like a pendulum which hangs off the skin attached with a thin stalk. Although skin tags can look unsightly, they are completely harmless.
